We had our baby shower on Sunday, November 9th. It was beautiful and very fun. It was hosted at Tami Schrock's home and organized by my sister-in-law Kristen Horton and our friend Isolette Descena.
I counted the guest list there were 81 people including children and husbands to attended the party. Baby Madelyn received so many things. She will not need any clothes in the near future or blankets. There were some hand-made creations such as the quilt that my Aunt Carol made and matching burp clothes. You have to see this for your self. They are amazing. Then she stitched (well her fancy machine did all the work) on the butt of a onsie "there is lots of junk in this trunk."
Kay Cook and Doris Hanger made blankets for Maddie too. I am not sure I am going to share the one from Kay. It is big enough I can use it. Our good friend Penny knitted a hat in soft pink with a rose on the front. I am sure this will become her favorite hat even when it becomes too small for her.
We had a great time and appreciate all that attending in Madelyn's honor. We all can't wait to meet her. Only 5 more weeks to go (December 17th).
